VHB Adds Five Employees to Growing Team in the National Capital Region

VHB has announced the addition of five employees to the firm’s National Capital Region office.

VHB has announced the addition of five employees to the firm’s National Capital Region office. VHB welcomes Eric Tang, PE, to the Mid-Atlantic safety team; Craig Schneider, EIT, Janie Nham, and Javier Revilla to the transportation team; and Jen McGovern, CPSM, as Mid-Atlantic regional marketing manager for VHB’s six offices in North Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia.

The continued growth of our team in the National Capital Region shows our dedication to clients in the metropolitan Washington area and beyond.”

Eric Tang, PE, is a senior highway safety engineer with VHB’s nationally recognized safety group. He brings 12 years of expertise in transportation policy, planning, safety, and engineering. He has a strong interest working in program management, traffic safety, and traffic operations. Eric is proficient with Microsoft Office and Synchro, and is highly knowledgeable of highway safety databases at federal and state levels. Eric received two master’s degrees – in civil engineering and city and regional planning - from the University of California-Berkeley, and his Bachelor of Applied Science in civil engineering from the University of Toronto.

Craig Schneider, EIT, is a transportation analyst joining the transportation engineering team. He has a Master’s Degree in transportation engineering and experience with traffic data collection, data quality management, signal warrant analyses, traffic impact and operations analyses. Craig also has experience in construction management, safety and human factors research.

Janie Nham joins the National Capital Region team as a transportation planner. In this role, Janie is responsible for multimodal transportation planning, research, and policy projects for transportation agencies and universities. Her background includes work with urban street design standards, smart growth policy, and transportation equity concerns.

Javier Revilla is also a new addition to VHB transportation planning team in the National Capital Region. Javier is a recent graduate of George Mason University and brings prior experience in campus transportation planning, transportation infrastructure design, and bicycle and pedestrian campus integration.

Jen McGovern, CPSM, brings 11 years of marketing, writing, and editing experience to VHB. An active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), Jen achieved her Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification in 2015 and serves on the Career Advancement Committee of the Washington DC chapter of SMPS.
