Brian Dewsnup to Lead MCI Aftermarket Business

Motor Coach Industries (MCI) has announced that Brian Dewsnup has been named vice president and general manager of MCI Aftermarket.

Motor Coach Industries (MCI) has announced that Brian Dewsnup has been named vice president and general manager of MCI Aftermarket. 

Dewsnup, previously the vice president, business development of New Flyer of America Inc. succeeds Wolfgang Winzer, who is retiring after four years at MCI.

Dewsnup was part of the New Flyer team that completed the MCI acquisition, and was previously the vice president and general manager of operations of North American Bus Industries, Inc., which the Company purchased in June 2013. Dewsnup will continue to report to Paul Soubry, president and chief executive officer of the Company.

“We are pleased that Brian will be stepping into the leadership role on the MCI Aftermarket team, an important assignment within our company,” said Soubry. “Brian will lead the Aftermarket team to execute its annual operating plan and continue the development of long term strategy in areas ranging from faster and more competitively priced parts shipments to improving the entire customer aftermarket experience.”  

In his new role, Dewsnup will lead the Louisville, KY, based parts distribution warehouse, field technical support and training center and six MCI Service Centers located in the U.S. and Canada.

Dewsnup will continue MCI’s new service commitment announced earlier this year placing an emphasis on value and improvements in coach uptime. MCI has added free standard shipping on parts orders of all sizes, with no minimum order and better parts inventory at expanded warehouses branches at MCI Service Centers in Los Alamitos, CA, and Dallas, TX.
