Windy City Limousine Receives Three Passenger 2016 Van Hool CX45’s

April 25, 2016
Windy City recently took delivery of three 56 passenger 2016 Van Hool CX45’s.

“We are all about relationships,” says Windy City Limousine President, George Jacobs. “Building long-term, quality relationships with both customers and employees is critical to our success. We employ the very best people we can find, and work constantly to impress on them the importance of exceeding customers’ expectations."

After building, then selling, his first limousine operation, Jacobs felt that the quality of service in the Chicagoland region was slipping so he and a group of seasoned professionals founded Windy City Limousine. Jacobs and his management team collectively have more than 100 years of experience in the luxury transportation business. The solid relationships formed with both drivers and customers over the years paid off and many flocked to the new company.

Windy City Limousine is currently the nation’s fastest growing ground transportation service and was the first such company to be on INC 5000’s list of fastest growing private companies for the last 7 years. Recently one of their chauffeurs was awarded the prestigious of “Chauffeur of the Year” by Limousine Digest, and the company was named “Best Transportation Vendor” by Meetings and Events Magazine the last 7 years and running. Wedding Wire has just named them a 2016 “Couples Choice” winner.

Numbering over 250, their modern fleet now includes vans, sedans, limousines, SUVs, mini-coaches and 20 full size motorcoaches providing every imaginable service from party bus and luxury limousine, to charter service throughout North America. They carry groups as diverse as wedding parties, major league sports teams and long distance charters throughout North America.

Windy City recently took delivery of three 56 passenger 2016 Van Hool CX45’s. The new luxury coaches are powered by a 425 HP Cummins ISX engine coupled to an Allison B500 6 speed transmission and feature Van Hool safety features including 3 point seatbelts, backup camera, lane departure warning, antilock brakes, Smartwave Tire Pressure Monitoring, Kidde Fire Suppression Systems, automatic stability control, daytime running lights, curbside lighting and adaptive static aiming lights.  In keeping with Windy City’s commitment to providing the highest level of amenities, they also opted for enclosed overhead parcel racks, wood grain flooring, 110 volt and USB outlets, and an REI Elite entertainment system with wireless microphone.

ABC Companies is Van Hool’s exclusive North American distributor, and according to their Account Manager, Aaron Babcock, “Windy City is a fast- growing company and is dedicated to providing a high level of service to their customers. Everyone from chauffeurs to mechanics to the management team has been a pleasure to work with and we look forward to serving Windy City as they continue to grow.”  Jacobs indicated that Windy City thinks of these as "The first three of a very large contract. ABC deals with us the same way we serve our customers - they’ve a built a solid relationship with us with first rate support, and they seem seriously committed to our success."
