Washoe County to Stuff-A-Bus for Seniors

The RTC is partnering with the city of Reno and Washoe County Senior Services for Stuff-A-Bus for Seniors. Together, the partners are collecting needed donations for seniors in our community and everyone can help by either dropping off new items in a donation barrel or at the Stuff-A-Bus for Seniors event at the Aces Ballpark from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 2. Everyone who donates at the event will receive a free skate rental valid Dec. 2-16. The event also coincides with the Reno Christmas Tree Lighting at 5 p.m.

Only new items are being accepted. Needed items include: jackets, coats, sweatpants, toiletries, adult diapers, grocery store or pet store gift cards and transit passes. For a complete list of items requested go to: http://www.reno.gov/government/departments/parks-recreation-community-services/seniors/senior-giving Donation barrels are located at: Reno City Hall at 1 East 1st Street, the Washoe County Administration Building at 1001 E. 9th Street in Reno and the RTC at 1105 Terminal Way in Reno. The barrels will remain in place through Dec. 11.
