Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam Inc. (LAN) has promoted two employees to lead its Infrastructure Large Diameter and Transportation Business Groups in response to the firm’s growth in these markets.

Warren Green, P.E, has been promoted to vice president and business group director of LAN’s Infrastructure Large Diameter Group. In this role, Green will oversee and coordinate business development efforts, production activities and operations. He brings 37 years of experience in the engineering management and supervision of complex drinking water supply and treatment projects, totaling more than $900 million. Since joining LAN in 2008 as the director of its Midwest region, Green has rapidly expanded the firm’s water supply and transmission services.

Green holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University. He is a registered professional engineer in the states of Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Mississippi, Michigan, Arizona, Tennessee and Texas.

“Warren’s decades of experience in the water treatment and transmission facility industry have certainly earned the respect of both clients and staff and he is the perfect person to steer our large diameter pipe practice forward,” said Dennis W. Petersen, P.E., LAN’s president.

Dev Rastogi, P.E., has been promoted to vice president and business group director of the firm’s Transportation Group. Rastogi, who previously served as the deputy business group director, will focus on growing LAN’s national footprint and will lead a team that can provide full service solutions from conception through construction for any project delivery method.

Rastogi has 32 years of civil engineering experience serving firms of various sizes, from local startups to mid-sized firms to Fortune 500 companies. Previously, she served URS Corp. as a vice president for six years, running its North Texas and Oklahoma operations. She has worked with public and private sector clients throughout Texas, including the City of Dallas, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth and Tulsa Districts.

“Dev is known for her strong business acumen and her tireless energy, and I am confident that under her leadership the strong growth we have witnessed in our transportation business over the last few years will continue and accelerate,” said Petersen.
