Nabers Among Speakers for CG/LA Infrastructure Leadership Forum

Oct. 6, 2015

Mary Scott Nabers, president and CEO of Strategic Partnerships Inc. and co-founder of the Gemini Global Group, will be among the speakers for the upcoming 7th North American Infrastructure Leadership Forum. The CG/LA Infrastructure-sponsored event is set for Oct. 26-28 in Washington, D.C.

The 2015 forum will highlight North America’s Strategic Top 100 infrastructure projects that industry experts say are needed to foster growth and job-producing competitiveness. Projects featured in last year’s forum were valued at $369 billion and this year’s price tag is expected to be even larger. The projects that will be discussed are ones that are expected to move forward in the next three to 18 months. These projects will result in millions of dollars’ worth of contracting opportunities for construction, technology, engineering, financial, equipment and other firms.

Organizers expect more than 500 infrastructure industry-leading executives to attend the forum. The forum is designed to bring together representatives of the various industries that together can bring these projects to fruition.

“Infrastructure is the lifeblood of any economy,” said Nabers. “But, surface transportation infrastructure is in ‘maintenance’ mode instead of ‘rebuild’ and ‘new build’ and population growth has only added to ever-increasing congestion. And, with increased demand for additional water sources to meet growing needs, replacement and expansion of aging water and wastewater infrastructure are long overdue.

“This year’s forum will bring together experts from a variety of industries and focus on doubling the infrastructure investment in North America – and in the projects that will have the greatest impact.”
