Until mid-October, photographers STM will stop in over 150 high schools, colleges, universities for a large operation renewal Opus cards at reduced rates for students. An opportunity to obtain or renew their reduced fare Opus card quickly, and suddenly, avoid the queues last minute.

In addition to making life easier, students who register for the recall tool automatically run the chance to win one of three prizes of one year of free transportation with the STM.
The reduced fare
In order to get their cards at reduced rates, students must be in possession of the following when registering:
- Cash ($ 14 tour, $ 15 at the studio)
- Proof of full-time study
- Proof of age (under 26 have to Oct. 31 of the current year)
In 2014, 68,300 students took advantage of the Opus Tour to renew or obtain their discounted student card. These cards have a lifespan of one year, until Oct. 31 of the year of purchase.That is why it is essential to renew their card every year. The discounted rate is equivalent to about 40 percent discount from the regular rate.
