Code Blue announced the completion of a $400,000, 1,500-square-foot expansion of its paint booth facilities.
The investment includes new equipment and infrastructure enhancements at Code Blue’s corporate headquarters at 259 Hedcor St. Code Blue moved into its current 34,000-square-foot facility in March 2013.
“These additions will bring Code Blue to another level when it comes to quality and efficiency,” Chief Operating Officer David Cook said. “This facility will not only benefit our own processes and products, but it has a tremendous amount of potential to support the needs of the West Michigan business community.”
The construction of new finishing, primer, prep, blast and mixing booths will bolster Code Blue’s productivity and efficiency by not only speeding up the assembly process, but also allowing the paint process to be cleaner and more cost effective. The 282-square-foot reclamation blast booth, for example, is capable of accommodating a wide variety of large and diverse projects.
