IMPulse Receives Gold Level Sustainability Recognition

IMPulse NC LLC has achieved the Gold Level recognition under the American Public Transportation Association’s (APTA) Sustainability Program.

IMPulse NC LLC has achieved the Gold Level recognition under the American Public Transportation Association’s (APTA) Sustainability Program. APTA is the voice for public transportation with more than 1,500 member companies representing both public and private sectors in the transit industry and its Sustainability Program is a model for sustainability around the world.

IMPulse is one of only two business members within APTA to reach the Gold Level for sustainability through the dedicated efforts of its employees who make it their mission to reduce the carbon footprint of our business and operate in a manner that ensures future sustainability for the community. These extra efforts to move from Bronze Level to Gold Level over the last year and half included over twenty-nine (29) specific action items and thirteen (13) stretch goals, including social sustainability and innovative sustainable life-costing initiatives.   

IMPulse will receive its official recognition during a luncheon ceremony as part of the APTA Sustainability Workshop in Portland, Oregon on August 2-4, 2015.
