Jamaica Bearings Group (JBG) announces the appointment of Peter Harper as director of business development - rail. His 15 years of experience supporting sales, customer service, and project management of new rolling stock and MRO services in the passenger rail market will benefit the organization, their supplying partners, and those they serve.
According to JBG’s Vice President of Industrial Sales Carlton Harvey, “Peter Harper’s experience in sales and project management will help JBG develop new and better services to meet the ever-changing demands of the OEMs and MROs we serve. I look forward to the developments Peter and my team will bring to the global rail market.”
Harper received a Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, and is an active member of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). Prior to accepting the appointment at JBG, he served as director of sales and project management for the transit division of Penn Machine Co. LLC in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. Previously, Harper served as director of project management for Westcode Inc. in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
