The National League of Cities (NLC) announced that President Barack Obama will address city leaders gathered for NLC’s annual Congressional City Conference March 9, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington.
Since the very beginning of his administration, Obama has been a close friend and ally of America's cities. Through local/federal partnerships and numerous joint initiatives, he continues to recognize the critical role municipal governments play in promoting economic development, building transportation infrastructure, protecting the health of our residents and improving the lives of our young people.
