GlobalViP Launches at Global Infrastructure Leadership Forum

Feb. 23, 2015

CG/LA Infrastructure Inc. on Feb. 23 announced the launch of GlobalViP (GViP) at the 8th Global Infrastructure Leadership Forum in New York City on Feb. 25, at 10 a.m.. The platform will be first unveiled to public sector owner/operators at the 500+ executive event, with participants from more than 40 countries. GViP is set to revolutionize the $3 trillion annual global infrastructure marketplace, reducing project development time in half, and development costs by as much as 60 percent.

“GViP is built for owner/operators, because they are the infrastructure market – they create the projects,” said Norman F. Anderson, founder and CEO, CG/LA Infrastructure. “Our algorithms give owner/operators access to expertise – just-in-time, world-class quality, useable bites – in a way that was previously only available through consulting studies. GViP is going to revolutionize the infrastructure business, the way that experts build professional communities and the way that public institutions are structured.”

GViP empowers owner/operators build projects, in every region of the globe and in every infrastructure sector. Like Airbnb and Uber, GViP arbitrages high value and scarce demand, on the one side (owner/operators’ urgent requirements for expertise), with over-supply and underutilization of expertise (trapped within firms) on the other.

The platform’s initial support comes from five global development banks, along with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and has been in development for two years. The platform has nearly 900 live infrastructure projects, and 1300 active users.

The GViP launch is open to public sector owner/operators and members of the press. A separate session on the platform will be offered to members of the private sector on Feb. 26. All events are taking place at the New York Marriott Downtown.
