Josef Villa Joins Parsons Brinckerhoff

Josef Villa has been named a senior supervising engineer in the New York City office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In his new position, Villa will manage structural engineering elements of transportation infrastructure projects throughout the New York metropolitan area. He has extensive structural design engineering experience, managing projects on behalf of such agencies as the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North Railroad, NJ Transit, New Jersey Turnpike Authority, Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, and New York City Department of Environmental Protection as well as Con Edison and Brookfield Renewable Power.

Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, Villa was a senior project engineer/assistant project manager in the structural department of an international engineering firm’s New York City office.

Villa received M.E. and B.E. degrees from City College of the City University of New York. His professional affiliations include the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Military Engineers.
