Building America’s Future President Marcia Hale released the following statement following the release of the fiscal 2016 budget:
“We are pleased that the proposed 2016 budget includes provisions from President Barack Obama’s proposed GROW AMERICA act, a $478 billion, six-year authorization that would significantly boost highway and transit spending. With today’s release of the proposed 2016 budget, President Obama reaffirmed his clear commitment to updating America’s outdated transportation networks and aging highways and bridges. America needs this increased funding so we can move forward on the path toward revitalizing our economy and becoming more globally competitive.”
