On Dec. 11, the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) dedicated a new bus shelter in the town of Yarmouth to long time CCRTA board member Bob Lawton. Bob served as town manager in Yarmouth for 32 years and as a CCRTA board member since 1978.

“Bob has been an extraordinary leader on Cape Cod for so long,” stated CCRTA Administrator Tom Cahir. “His positive contributions to the town of Yarmouth and support of many important regional transportation initiatives will be greatly appreciated for many years”.

The aesthetically pleasing bus shelter is one of 30 that the CCRTA has placed across the region over the last couple of years. They are sited in areas along all fixed routes on Cape Cod.
