Agency seeks public input on proposed fare structure changes

The Regional Transportation District will host six public meetings across the Denver metro region to gather input on proposed changes to its current fare structure.

The public transit agency and consultant CH2M HILL are evaluating ways to simplify and improve RTD’s existing fare structure.

RTD’s objective is to implement a new fare structure before opening five new transit lines in 2016, including a rail line to Denver International Airport.

During the first round of public meetings, riders, stakeholders and the general public submitted input on some of the challenges they have faced while using RTD’s transit system.
