HOK Appoints Regional Aviation + Transportation Leader in Houston

HOK has announced the appointment of Keith Hui, AIA, NCARB, as vice president and regional leader of the firm’s Aviation + Transportation practice. In this new role, Hui will direct the regional growth strategy for the A+T practice, provide project leadership, and build relationships with clients and strategic partners.

Previously an A+T leader in HOK’s Seattle and Hong Kong offices, Hui brings more than 20 years of experience in the planning and design of aviation and transportation facilities worldwide. He has led numerous international airport terminal projects, including the award-winning Kempegowda International Airport Terminal 1 Expansion in Bangalore, India; the Suvarnabhumi International Airport Midfield Satellite Concourse in Bangkok, Thailand; and several projects for the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Seattle, Washington.

Hui has led numerous master planning and terminal expansion and improvement projects, as well as airport facilities studies and passenger flow and optimization studies. He also has overseen HOK’s entries into many high-profile airport terminal design competitions.

Hui earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from McGill University in Montreal. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the Airport Consultants Council Technical Committee.
