Creative Bus Sales announced Nov. 18 completion of the acquisition of EK Bus Sales with locations in the Seattle suburb of Mukilteo, Wash., and the Portland, Ore. suburb of Canby, Ore. Under the terms of the agreement, Creative has purchased a substantial portion of EK Bus Sales' assets. The company will continue to operate under the name EK Bus Sales in the short term and operate from their current locations in Mukilteo and Canby.
President Tony Matijevich stated, "Creative Bus Sales is extremely proud to announce the acquisition of EK Bus Sales. We welcome Jeff Crockett and his entire organization into the Creative family of companies. Jeff and his staff are industry leaders in the Pacific Northwest with years of experience and similar product representation that brings great synergy to our current operations."
When asked about the acquisition, Matijevich commented, "I believe EK Bus Sales and their past and future customers will benefit tremendously from the resources, systems and marketing support to be provided by Creative Bus Sales. It is our goal to grow their operations within the Pacific Northwest and further expand their line of services and product offerings."
