IVU CEO Martin Müller-Elschner and the Director of UTC Prof Tran Dac Su signed a corresponding declaration of intent in the presence of the German Minister for Economic Affairs Sigmar Gabriel and his Vietnamese counterpart Bui Quang Vinh.

The cooperation between IVU and UTC will involve instruction and further training for specialists and managers of Vietnamese transport companies, as well as joint research on topics relating to public transport, and the transfer of technology and knowledge. Among other things, it is proposed to offer joint seminars, lectures, and courses. The objective of the practically-oriented programme is to promote expertise and to transfer managerial skills.

Müller-Elschner, CEO of IVU Traffic Technologies AG, emphasised the importance of the cooperation agreement for the development of Vietnamese transport systems: “In the coming years, Vietnam will face the task of comprehensively modernising its transport infrastructure. With our specialist knowledge and the experience gained in hundreds of projects worldwide, we can make an important contribution towards preparing the country’s transport companies to meet the challenges of growing mobility.”
