The Regional Transportation District’s pioneering Workforce Initiative Now (WIN) program is hosting an inaugural bowling tournament and fundraiser for military veterans and other participants training for careers in the transportation and construction industries.
Founded by RTD in 2011, WIN has become a national model for transit and transportation agencies seeking to train and recruit skilled employees. There are 33 military veterans enrolled in the program today.This will be the first year for Stars and Strikes, which is taking place four days before Veterans Day 2014.
