First Transit announced that the company has been awarded the contract for fixed-route services for Bay Town Trolley in Bay County, Florida. The contract, which began July 1, 2014, is for 3 years.
Senior Vice President Tim McCann stated, “First Transit is appreciative of the opportunity to provide this essential service for Bay County. We are fully committed to consistently delivering safe and efficient transportation services to the Bay County community.”
First Transit will operate a fleet of 36 buses per the contract providing public transportation service throughout all of Bay County, including Panama City.
