Handheld’s Nautiz X4 Data Collector Now Certified by Verizon Wireless

Sept. 15, 2014

Handheld Group on Sept. 12 announced that Verizon Wireless has granted carrier certification for its Nautiz X4 rugged handheld computer. The Nautiz X4 is a portable handheld device designed to offer data collection and communication capabilities for fieldworkers.

3G connectivity, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi capability and powerful data collection features make the Nautiz X4 a wireless communication and data collection tool for a wide range of industries. With a 5-megapixel camera and customers’ choice of an integrated high-performance 1D laser scanner or 2D imager, the Nautiz X4 can capture data and communicate information in real time from the field across Verizon's network, or via batch when back at the office.

“Compatibility with Verizon Wireless will add all the benefits of America’s largest and most reliable wireless network to the Nautiz X4’s arsenal of competencies,” says Dale Kyle, president of Handheld US. “In response to requests from our U.S. markets, the Nautiz X4 now offers customers a choice of mobile networks.”
