The South Bend Public Transportation Corp. (Transpo) announced Mia Brunelli has joined in the organization in the newly created role of operations manager.
Brunelli received her Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management and Organizations from the University of Iowa’s Henry B. Tippie College of Business. She began her career as an operator with the University of Iowa’s campus bus service before advancing into supervisory positions as a Personnel Supervisor and Service & Information Supervisor, providing her with valuable leadership experience.
As operations manager, Brunelli will assist with the day-to-day management of the operations department. She will oversee dispatch and be responsible for fixed route and paratransit service delivery.
“We are excited to expand our operations department with the addition of the operations manager position”, said David Cangany, Transpo general manager. “Mia’s experience and fresh perspective will support our continued initiatives to improve service delivery and operating efficiency”, continued Cangany.
