Starting June 4, the St. Cloud Trolley provides free rides Wednesday-Saturday through Aug. 30.
The trolley will run Wednesdays 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. and a special evening route 5-9:25 p.m. for the Summertime by George! festival, and Thursdays-Saturdays 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Along with the Summertime by George! service, this year’s trolley schedule includes a 10-minute loop downtown and an alternating 20-minute loop to Munsinger & Clemens Gardens, St. Cloud State University and Lake George.
“Metro Bus is excited to respond to the community’s request to bring back the free summer trolley,” said Ryan Daniel, Metro Bus executive director. “We are able to do this with help from local business sponsors.”
This year’s trolley is sponsored by Metro Bus, CapitalOne 360, Quinlivan & Hughes Attorneys at Law, Green Mill and Kelly Inn.
