Parsons announced it has hired Thomas “Tom” Clark as vice president and director of business development for its transportation group.

Clark brings to Parsons expertise in operations and maintenance and public-private partnerships (P3s). He has more than 32 years of experience — the majority of which is in the transportation industry — resulting in considerable expertise in highway operations and maintenance and infrastructure P3s. Over the course of his career, Clark has led and managed marketing, research, and project delivery teams. His most recent experience involved serving as the global business development vice president for an international asset maintenance contracting company that provides its customers with highway, railroad, and industrial maintenance services. In this position, he wrote and edited technical proposals for large-scale, multidisciplinary P3s and asset maintenance projects, led strategic planning efforts, and redeveloped the firm’s website.

“We are excited to welcome Tom to our team,” said Todd Wager, Parsons Group president. “He is poised to make key contributions to our organization, particularly through our life-cycle management and tolling initiatives.”

Clark holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University and a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis on finance and marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He will be based in Washington, D.C.
