New PATCO website optimized for smartphones and other handheld devices.

PATCO on April 7 rolled out a new website designed specifically for use with smartphones and other handheld digital devices.

The new mobile site offers customers station-specific train departure times, faster loading speeds, station locations, maps, travel alerts, elevator/escalator alerts, information about connecting transportation and the latest Tweets.

“Our new mobile site puts a lot more information about the PATCO system in the palms of customers’ hands,” said DRPA Acting CEO John Hanson. “Over time, we will use the mobile site to provide even more up-to-date information to customers in PATCO stations, on PATCO trains and on PATCO platforms.”

“We are committed to improving the PATCO customer experience, and we believe the new mobile website represents an important step toward providing the outstanding service our customers deserve,” Hanson said.

The new mobile site will complement PATCO’s existing, personal computer-friendly website.
