France: Alcinéo and Ask Announce Partnership

Alcinéo and Ask announced their partnership to provide contactless payment solutions for fare collection systems.

Alcinéo will provide its contactless payment suite that covers the main payment scheme such as PayWave of Visa, PayPass 3.0 released by MasterCard or ExpressPay 3.0 for American Express. Additionnally, this payment suite comes with en Entry Point layer fully compliant with the modular architecture requested by EMVCo. Alcinéo payment suite has already gone through several certifications process successfully.

On the other side, ASK unveils its new reader, EMV L1 certified, the CityFlow PLG 548. The CityFlow is a fully packaged EMV certified contactless reader designed for both contactless payment and transit applications. The CityFlow is easy to integrate on a new or existing device, whilst the final equipment benefits from the EMV contactless certification.

Moreover, it embeds a Secure Element Module that enables the solution to be SRED compatible. This device completes ASK range of terminals that sustains the convergence of payment and transit applications.
