The public information and marketing department of Palm Tran was honored with several awards at the 2013 annual conference of the Florida Public Transportation Association (FPTA) held Oct. 27-29 in Clearwater Beach, Fla.
Two first-place Awards of Excellence were earned in the categories of electronic media/audio-visual television and internal employee communications. The department also received two second-place Awards of Merit in the categories of print collateral/instructional information and signage and graphics/exterior bus.
