Primetickets.com and Chicago Mezuzah and Mitzvah Campaigns (CMC) will be leasing space on the red and purple lines.

Customers at the Addison Red Line station will be able to purchase tickets to concerts, sporting events, theater and Broadway performances. Primetickets.com will also offer year-round concessions in addition to ticket sales.

The location at Central station on the Purple Line will offer support services such as information, advocacy and social support. CMC, a not for profit organization, provides programs and services to senior citizens and to the ill and infirmed as well as their family members. The space is located adjacent to Evanston Northwestern Hospital and has been unoccupied for many years.

“A ticket agent booth as well as a social service organization are unique to the CTA,” said CTA President Forrest Claypool. “It is CTA’s goal to find vendors or groups which are as diverse as our customer base.”

These new leases add to the total of 35 new concessions added over the past 24 months. Annual rents will increase by more than $70,000 bringing the total amount of new non-farebox revenues in the last two years to more than $500,000.
