Misco Expands Quality Assurance Management

Misco announced that Jason Reiff has joined its quality assurance team as a quality manager.

Misco announced that Jason Reiff has joined its quality assurance team as a quality manager.

Reiff is a certified ISO 9001/TS16949 Lead Auditor, and will be responsible for Misco’s ISO 9001 certification. He will also develop initiatives to meet QA requirements for aerospace and medical equipment, and lead the company’s lean manufacturing practices.

“Jason has a passion for providing the highest quality products and services possible,” says Dan Digre, general manager of Misco. “He has broad experience across diverse industries. Jason has created manufacturing processes, led process improvements, developed production test plans and warranty programs, and even holds product design patents. His QA experience will greatly benefit Misco customers.”

Reiff has worked in quality assurance for over 12 years, most recently at the Bergquist Co. in the Thermal Substrates Group where he was responsible for managing their ISO 9001 audit program. Reiff also implemented their TS16949 Automotive Quality Management System as well as their ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. Before Bergquist, Reiff had total responsibility for QA at the Centaur Division of E.S. Robbins, and worked at Crown Cork and Seal where he earned his Six Sigma Green Belt.

Reiff holds a certification from the American Society of Quality (ASQ) as a certified manager of quality and prganization excellence (CMQ/OE). He received his BS in industrial engineering from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
