Veteran Audio Transducer Engineer Joins Misco

James White has been named a design engineer at Misco.

James White has been named a design engineer at Misco.

White has more than 15 years of experience in transducer and audio system design in the highly detailed and process-oriented automotive sector. He previously worked at Panasonic, developing a Fender Guitars-branded premium OEM car audio system. White was also designer of subwoofers used in Panasonic vehicle programs, and has designed a wide range of car audio speakers, subwoofer enclosures, and systems.

“James is an avid music listener who loves live performance,” said Dan Digre, general manager of Misco. “He understands what goes into making great audio. He has years of experience in the design, testing, and manufacturing of loudspeakers and systems, plus a background in the global OEM automotive market. James’s skill set and passion for audio make him a great addition to the seasoned Misco engineering team.”

White is experienced in car audio system tuning and evaluation through subjective listening techniques, and objective testing methods. He is also certified in Listening Technology by DLC Design. White holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from ITT Technical Institute.
