The NA341 from Axiomtek is a fanless slim-type network appliance platform for small office and home office applications.
The NA341 supports low-power Intel Atom processor N2600 dual core 1.6 GHz with the Intel NM10 chipset. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are integrated into this unit with one pair LAN bypass function. It comes with a high bandwidth DDR3 SO-DIMM slot with memory maximum up to 2 GB and features one CompactFlash socket for storing event log; one Mini PCIe slot and two rotational WLAN antennas are available for wireless/3G/LTE network connection. This fanless embedded platform is very slim and light can be easily to fit any space-limited environment. The NA341 is an excellent choice for VPN, content filtering, UTM, network security gateway, and firewall.
“Axiomtek’s new NA341 is designed for network applications with low-power, fanless and noiseless operation is desirable. To enhanced reliability, the platform supports data protection via latch-type LAN bypass function for fail-over option, and features BIOS redirection to console port. The front bezel and chassis color of the NA341 can be customized based on customer’s demands. We have the capability to assist with any customized requirement,” said Joyce Wu, product manager at Axiomtek.
In order to address the various network application needs, the NA341 features one CompactFlash slot, one console port, two USB 2.0 ports, and one mini PCIe slots. For easy maintenance, there are front-facing LED indicators on the panel for power and HDD activity monitoring. The unit also supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.6 operating systems.
The NA341 will be available around the end of July 2013.
