MO: MTM Hires Transit Professional Etta Jackson as Associate General Counsel

MTM Inc. announced it has hired Etta Jackson as its associate general counsel.

MTM Inc. announced it has hired Etta Jackson as its associate general counsel. In her role with MTM, Jackson will support ongoing contractual compliance and assist General Counsel Don Tiemeyer in resolving litigation and other legal matters.

Jackson is an experienced lawyer who comes to MTM with 12 years of expertise practicing law and more than 30 years of experience in contracting and negotiations. This consists of more than 10 years of transit expertise, including five years with the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) and eight years with the St. Louis Bi-State Development Agency planning components of the MetroLink system.

Since receiving her J.D. in 2000 from the Washington University School of Law, Jackson spent six years as the senior compliance attorney for Edward Jones, as well as five years as a staff attorney for KCATA. Etta also holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a MBA from Columbia University.
