CA: Sam Mansour Joins TranSystems

Sam Mansour, P.E., has joined TranSystems as senior vice president and client manager for the company’s passenger and freight rail practice areas.

Sam Mansour, P.E., has joined TranSystems as senior vice president and client manager for the company’s passenger and freight rail practice areas. Mansour will be responsible for business development, client service and growth strategies across the West region.

“Sam brings extensive experience to TranSystems, which will further strengthen our multi-modal service offerings for the passenger and freight rail industries,” said Rick Morsches, chief strategy and marketing officer for the company. “He has worked closely with Class 1 railroads and commuter agencies on track capacity, rail yards, intermodal facilities, transit stations and grade separation projects.”

Mansour has 29 years of experience providing design, construction and project management services on commuter, transit, freight railroad, grade separations and other major infrastructure projects, as well as corridor assessment and feasibility studies.

Mansour is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association and the Women’s Transportation Seminar of Los Angeles. In addition, he is a board member for the American Council of Engineering Companies and a member and past president of the Railway Association of Southern California.
