The city of Paso Robles, Calif. has extended its contract with First Transit for another year, beginning July 1.

This marks the company’s 22nd year of service in Paso Robles, which today includes a mix of paratransit and fixed route offerings. This latest contract extension does not include the maintenance of the 12-bus fleet, which First Transit began providing on June 1.

“Over the years, First Transit’s expertise in all facets of transit management has enhanced our relationship with Paso Robles,” said General Manager Terry Gillespie. “The servicing of the Paso Robles fleet is now supervised by our own ASE-certified mechanic.”

Gillespie added, “On behalf of First Transit, we consider it a privilege to be a trusted member of the Paso Robles community for more than two decades.”
