Dewberry announced May 21 the acquisition of Bowyer-Singleton & Associates, Inc.

Headquartered in Orlando, Bowyer-Singleton is a more than 90-person planning, engineering, environmental, and surveying and mapping firm, with four additional offices in the state.

“Bowyer-Singleton is well known throughout Florida for its 40-plus year portfolio of planning, engineering, and surveying projects. It has become a premier Florida transportation and high-capacity surveying and mapping firm. Bowyer-Singleton also enjoys a strong legacy of land development planning and engineering projects in the Metro Orlando area,” says Dewberry CEO Donald E. Stone, Jr., PE. “Our firms’ services and portfolio are very similar. Both firms also place a high premium on developing and nurturing strong relationships with the local communities we serve.”

“We have known and admired Dewberry for many years now,” says Bowyer-Singleton Chairman and CEO Raymond R. Bradick. “We know we will be stronger together.”

“I feel confident that our level of service to our clients will only improve,” says Bowyer-Singleton President Kevin Knudsen, PE. “I anticipate a lot of compatibility among our staff as we work together on existing and new projects.”

Dewberry has had an office in Tampa since 2006, with a focus on delivering geospatial, water resources engineering, and emergency management services to government clients. The addition of Bowyer-Singleton brings Dewberry to 115 personnel in the state and 160 in the southeast and Gulf Coast region; as well as the ability to offer full-service architecture, engineering, and consulting services.
