St. John’s Transportation Commission is taking delivery of nine Nova LFS Smart Buses in February. The order also includes options on up to 21 additional buses over the 2013-2017 period.

St. John's Transportation Commission, a trusted longtime partner of Nova Bus, has opted for the LFS Smart Bus which includes the Nova eCooling system.

"We are proud to continue to support St. John's Transportation Commission in better serving the community by putting our smart bus technology to work. Our solution can improve fuel economy by up to 18 percent and significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions," said Gilles Dion, president and CEO of Nova Bus.

Making the very most of Nova Bus's know-how and experience, St. John's has selected 40-foot clean-diesel vehicles, which offer time-tested performance and reliability. Also, the stainless steel structure at the heart of the Nova LFS is a must-have in the corrosive operating conditions prevalent in Newfoundland. "Nova Bus backs its reliable vehicles with a high level of service; we value their partnership," said Sean Mooney, maintenance manager of St. John's Transportation Commission.
