Today, MV Transportation, Inc., the largest privately-owned transportation contracting firm based in the United States, announced the successful opening of its new Dallas, Texas location in the well-known and centrally located Premier Place Building at 5910 North Central Expressway. This executive office location adds to the company's two support center locations: one in Northern California and one in Iowa.
Members of MV Transportation's Executive Leadership Team, including the company's chief executive officer and chief operating officer, have relocated and are now based in Dallas. Larry Biggers, recently announced as MV's vice president of National Call Centers, will soon follow to establish the company's first national call center, also based out of this location. The company aims to open its national call center in early 2012 and grow to 200 employees by the end of the year.
"MV Transportation has experienced significant growth over the past year with new contracts across North America and new employees as a result. This central location in the heart of the country accommodates our rapid expansion and puts us in an optimal position to support continued growth," said MV's Chief Executive Officer Carter Pate. "Dallas has a strong sense of home for me; I earned my Masters in accounting from the University of Texas, Dallas; raised my three sons here and also began my career at the PricewaterhouseCoopers Dallas location. I look forward to strengthening my current relationships in Dallas and to creating new ones."
"Having a central location in Dallas allows our leadership team to be more accessible to our operating divisions and to our clients across North America in both proximity and time zone," said MV's Chief Operating Officer Kevin A. Klika. "Convenience and accessibility for our clients was first and foremost in making this decision."
MV Transportation is a proud community partner across state, regional and national levels. Locally, the company is a member of the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce, a supporter of the Dallas chapter of Conference of Minority Transportation Officials and a member of the Southwest Transit Association based in Austin.
