Hatch Mott MacDonald Appoints Michael Loehr U.S. Practice Leader – Rail & Transit

Hatch Mott MacDonald announces that Michael Loehr, P.E., has been named senior vice president and U.S. Practice Leader – Rail & Transit. In this role, he will guide the growth of the rapidly expanding U.S. Rail & Transit practice by coordinating and delivering high-quality rail and transit projects throughout the country.

Loehr has more than 33 years of extensive, world-wide experience in the engineering, design and construction of a wide variety of railroad and transit industry projects, including commuter rail transit facilities, freight rail installations, railway bridges, parking facilities and highways. His project experience includes management roles on several award-winning projects, including the Heartland Corridor Project, which received awards from AREMA, ASCE and the International Brunel Award. He is an active member of the professional community, with memberships to AREMA, ASCE, and the Transportation Research Board.

Loehr is based in Hatch Mott MacDonald's Richmond, Va. office.
