First Transit Named 'Outstanding Business Partner of the Year'

The National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS), at its Annual Conference on Sunday, Oct. 23 in Orlando, Fla., recognized First Transit as their "Outstanding Business Partner of the Year" for its operations in the university transit market. The award is presented to the company that has provided exceptional business services to its customers and assisted in exceptional customer service operations for the students, faculty and staff on college and university campuses nationwide. First Transit President Brad Thomas, believes this recognition is a reflection of the hard work and dedication his university transit employees put into their campus transit systems regularly.

"It is a great honor to receive this recognition for our work within the university market," Thomas said. "From the hard work of our general managers, drivers and office staff, they all demonstrate an enthusiasm to provide safe and reliable transit services for their universities. I am proud of the effort everyone involved has displayed and look forward to continuing a strong and beneficial relationship with our customers."

One First Transit customer representative from Princeton University believes that the company's emphasis on service and safety makes First Transit a prime example of what makes a great transit provider.
