Metro has received the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction for its 2010 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
The award was presented to Metro on behalf of Ohio State Auditor Dave Yost for excellence in financial reporting. The award commended Metro’s financial reporting for “serving as the standard for clean, accountable government, representing the highest level of service to Ohioans.”
Metro has also received 19 consecutive "Certificates of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting" from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports.
