First Transit-managed Green Bay Metro will provide free fixed-route service on game days.

Starting Friday, Aug. 19, First Transit-managed Green Bay Metro will provide free gameday service to and from Lambeau Field for Packers' fans. In a partnership with the city of Green Bay and the defending Super Bowl XLV champion Green Bay Packers, Green Bay Metro will provide fixed-route service from four Green Bay Packers associated bus stops on game days during the season for the public. Buses will pick up and drop off fans from designated stops named QB Sneak, Cheesehead, Lambeau Leap and Quick Slant.

"We are pleased to partner with the city of Green Bay and the Green Bay Packers to provide this great service to all the 'Packer Backers' in the area," said Tom Wittig, general manager, First Transit/Green Bay Metro. "Our goal is to provide safe and reliable transportation service for our passengers, and we are excited about being a part of this year's football season."

First Transit has managed the fixed-route service for Green Bay Metro since 2007. For more information on the service, visit www.greenbaymetro.org.
