Rapidly growing technology company adds two with deep experience in rugged handheld computer industry.

Handheld US, a supplier of rugged PDAs and devices throughout North America, today announced the hiring of two new vertical sale managers. Steve Heric and Daniel (Danny) Adams joined Handheld US earlier this month, and are focusing on growing the company's presence and sales in current markets as well as expanding into new markets.

"We're experiencing another quarter of record-breaking sales growth," said Dale Kyle, president of Handheld US. "It's our responsibility to offer our expanding client base the resources they need. Steve and Danny bring market-specific experience and expertise, and they will help us accelerate and capitalize on our sales growth as well as deliver better support for our existing and future channel partners."

Heric, most recently with DRS Technologies, brings extensive expertise in the area of rugged notebook and tablets. In his technology-sales career he has excelled in channel-partner development, with a track record of successfully integrating multiple partner/channel offerings into custom solutions for clients and end users. He has experience with handheld solutions for utilities, field services, public safety, military and other markets. He also has worked previously for Itronix and Walkabout Computers.

Adams joins Handheld from Juniper Systems, bringing experience in the ultra-rugged computing space with special emphasis on military, mining and public safety. He has excelled in both internal and external work environments, setting records as a sales professional as well as managing people and sales regions. He also has successfully identified and developed new-business relationships. Adams has a degree in communications from Utah State University.
