EAO Expands to Four Sales Regions and Adds New Regional Manager

EAO appoints Theodore Popp as regional sales manager for California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington and Western Canada.

EAO Switch Corp. of Milford, Conn., a premier global supplier of Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems and components, announces the expansion of its North American sales organization to include four regional sales territories. To support this growth, EAO also announces the appointment of Mr. Theodore (Ted) Popp as Regional Sales Manager for California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington and Western Canada.

Popp brings 20 years of design engineering, business development and regional sales management to EAO. He has worked extensively in HMI Systems applications and provides expertise on membrane switches, elastomeric keypads, encoded keyboards/keypads, touchscreens and related PCB design and assembly. In his previous positions with manufacturers, including STACI Corp. and Phoenix Interface Technologies, Popp has worked closely with independent manufacturer’s representative organizations, distributors, and top management at OEMs throughout North America.

Popp will work from an office in Mesa, Ariz.. He will work closely with Steven (Steve) Antoniou, regional sales Manager for the Rocky Mountain region, who will also develop the Heartland and Minnesota regions. Antoniou has many years of EAO experience and a deep knowledge of EAO HMI products and capabilities and will help Popp to get established in the western region.
