URS Names Kerr Adler Vice President, National Director of Transportation Facilities

Susannah Kerr Adler, AIA, has been named a vice pin the Washington, D.C., office of URS Corp.

Susannah Kerr Adler, AIA, has been named a vice pin the Washington, D.C., office of URS Corp.

Kerr Adler will serve as URS' national director of transportation facilities. In this role she will lead the growth and development of the transportation facility practice across all modes. She will also serve as the company's U.S. East Group lead for the facilities business line, with a particular focus upon sustainability.

Kerr Adler has more than 18 years of experience working on transit and infrastructure programs and facilities. She joins URS from an international professional services firm where she most recently served as project director and principal-in-charge for numerous multi-disciplinary transit projects, as well as national director for sustainability.

A registered architect and planner, Kerr Adler offers a broad technical background in transportation facility planning and design that includes management of facility programming, operations planning, design, and construction projects. She received masters of architecture, masters of city planning and bachelor of science degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A registered architect in seven states and the District of Columbia, she is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the American Institute of Architects.
