Kitsap Transit’s commissioners gave the go-ahead Tuesday to begin negotiating to buy property for a new transit center in Silverdale.
The agency is aiming to purchase three parcels on Ridgetop Boulevard, across the street from Harrison Medical Center near Sid Uhnick Drive.
Kitsap Transit has been searching for a location for a new transfer center in Silverdale since 2011.
