During their regular September 5 meeting, Scotts Bluff County Commissioners unanimously approved Shari Hinze as the county’s new transit manager.
The position was created recently to oversee the operation of the new flexible route bus service that should be in operation on January 10, 2018. Tentatively, the service will be called Tri-City Roadrunner.
Hinze has been with the County Building and Grounds department for the past two years, where she coordinated the Handyman service for the county. With her promotion, a new Handyman coordinator will be hired to fill the position.
