TX: Three-Vehicle Crash Sends VIA Bus Into House

Four people sustained minor injuries Thursday morning when a three-vehicle accident sent a VIA bus into a house.

A woman driving a Nissan Altima south on Allende did not see a stop sign covered by tree leaves and drove into the intersection with Ceralvo, where she hit a Chevrolet Trailblazer headed eastbound, police said.

The SUV was pushed head-on into the bus, which only had one passenger, police said. The bus hit a mailbox and plowed through fencing into a house, which was damaged, police said.

The drivers of both cars, a small boy in the Altima and the bus passenger were all injured, but not seriously. No one was immediately cited.

A gas line that feeds the house was ruptured and CPS crews are on scene shutting it down.
