CA: BART Delayed After Person Seen on Tracks

BART trains were delayed up to 20 minutes through San Francisco on Monday morning because of a report of a person on the tracks, transit agency officials said.

Police were searching for the person near the Powell Station after a train operator saw someone on the line around 8:30 a.m., said BART spokeswoman Alicia Trost. Trains were stopped during the search.

The person was not immediately found, and trains resumed operations, Trost said.
