Lane Transit District General Manager Ron Kilcoyne has received a 2 percent raise.
LTD's board approved the salary increase, raising Kilcoyne's base salary to $153,000 from $150,000, last week. The pay raise is retroactive to July 1.
Kilcoyne hadn't received a raise since he came on board in July 2011 after serving for seven years as chief executive officer of the transit agency in Bridgeport, Conn.
The Lane transit agency's human resources committee recommended the raise, saying it was consistent with what other administrators received.
The board took the action after it concluded an executive, or nonpublic, session to review Kilcoyne's performance over the past year.
The board also approved goals and objectives for Kilcoyne to focus on during the current fiscal year, which began July 1. Personal goals include continuing community outreach, keeping the board informed of current issues and sustaining good relations with employees.
Agency goals include securing a new labor agreement, completing the design of the west Eugene extension of EmX bus rapid transit and guiding the transition resulting from the retirement of eight LTD managers in the current fiscal year.
In addition to his base salary, Kilcoyne receives a $333 monthly car allowance, full health insurance benefits, vacation and sick leave, and retirement benefits, according to his contract.
